Boat party

Yesterday was time for a new  legendary boat party:

Since we for the moment have a free room in our house, me and Çiler decided to throw a preparty. Luckily we had a boat to catch, otherwise we would have had to much fun!

I love that I don't need to walk longer than to the kitchen to get company! Here savours mezes and raki.

Home delivery

All the restaurants and cafés in the neighborhood has home delivery. That also applies for the kiosk- that sells alcohol. And is open 24/7. You do the math...

Many of the turkish students here live in dorms at campus (only the foreign students are banished out to Superdorm...). Attendance is taken during the weekday nights to make sure everyone is home. And privacy is not to talk about, six people in same room!

But I'm sure they have a lot of fun there! And they get to feel like Harry Potter every day!

At Hogwards?

Six girls in a room...

2nd Swed lunch

I'm so happy I've meet someone that understands my desire to photograph most things in my surrounding, sad she is going back to Sweden next week so I didn't get to know her better!

Check out her blog too!

Our gate

Someone new

So is it goodbye?
Is it time to set you free?
Is it time to let it fly?
Is it time to let it bleed

We used to take turns
To cover up the pain
Deep below it burns
And the fellin' still remains

You're gonna find someone new
I really hope you do
'Cause I love you
And the sun will come on thru,
It's gonna shine for you
'Cause I adore you

Yes we gave it a try
But maybe for too long
Out of every sorrow
Another day will dawn

You're gonna find someone new
I really hope you do
'Cause I love you
And the sun will come on thru,
It's gonna shine for you
'Cause I adore you

And the road travels on
But I'm still near you
In my life, like a song
I will still hear you

Dinner for few?

Why does our small intimate dinners always ends up with half Hisarustu coming...?

And is all of this drama really necessary..? Start watching soap operas instead of interfering in other peoples life! Thanks.

We were learning the other exchange students to play Backgammon. They played it like chess -quite amusing!

In our garden, Istanbul - Rumeli Hisarüstü, today:

The cure

My assumed life threatening illness that has been pester me for what seems to be an eternity turned out to be sinusitis, that's (insallah!) cured easily with antibiotics.
Turkish doctors are famous for subscribing lots of medicines - now I know why!
This is what I came out from the pharmacy with, six different medications:

Snowbreak evaluation

Skiing was actually not the best, but at least it was skiing, not many foreigners know it's possible in Turkey.

But the parties, oooho, world class! I'm not gonna post a lot of party pics here, for that check my facebook.

And at last I'm so happy for all new friends I made!

No skiing

Due to headache and other war injuries I didn't do any skiing yet. Managed to get 10m outside the hotel to take some pics though.
