New Years in London!

Me and Cem didnt have any plans for New Years and I'm so tired of all the high expectations for so we decided to go travel somewhere just for a few nights, and the lot fell on London. We are staying at a completely newly opened hotel at ExCel in the Docklands, which is an area they just built for the Olympics that's gonna be in London this summer.

When we arrived last night we took a walk around town and looked for a pub where we could have dinner and beer. Chose the most typical English place we could found :) Then we tried to find the hotel which was easier said than done since they were rebuilding the metro. But in the end we found it, veeery interesting architecture here, gonna show you some pictures later.

Christmas

Cem's first Christmas in Sweden! Because of that I felt like we had to show a how a real Christmas in Sweden is celebrated. Even Santa Claus (Mum) came! When me and Cem woke up on Christmas we went to my parents house to begin the celebrations. We went for a walk during the day and then came home for preparing Christmas dinner. At 4 o'clock we saw Kalle Anka with the rest of the Swedish people, I don't think that Cem really understood the concept of it, haha! After that dinner with all Swedish specialties like herring and Christmas ham we opened the Christmas presents under the Christmas tree.

Ever since I started studying at KTH I've wanted to give my parents a trip to show my appreciation for all their support. So I gave them a one week stay in an apartment in Amalfi, Italy. Also to Cem and Jennifer. Finally after 5 years I was able to fulfill my promise!

Beetle release party

What a perfectly arranged party - made to release the new Beetle car. The singer of my favorite band The Soundtrack of Our Lives as DJ. Which was topped by Mando Diao performing live on scene and the inviting the audience to join the scene with them, haha people got crazy but it was so much fun!!
