Soup theatre

In birthday present i gave mum tickets to Soup theater at Stadsteatern. It's a really nice concept, during one hour at lunch time you get a soup lunch served and also see a play at the same time. And it was specially nice to get a break from work in the middle of the day and spend time with mum!

Christmas baking

Bea, Maria and Johanna came for drinking glögg and baking saffron buns and gingerbread. A reason for me to Christmas decorate our house, a least a little since I won't be spending Christmas in Sweden.

Aerial silks

During the autumn I've been trying something that I've wanted to try for a long time, Aerial Silk. In Stockholm the only place where you can perform it at DQ Dance Studio an Östermalm.

It was the hardest thing physically that I've ever done! Just to grab the silk and climb upwards takes a lot of strength for primarily the arm but also for stomach, back, ass and legs. After an hour of practicing my hole body feels like spaghetti! Furthermore you have to be nimble and also not afraid to try different tricks in the air.

We had season finale and unfortunately I don't feel that I have time or energy to continue after Christmas but I'm definitely gonna continue later!

Recently I found this picture online and guess if I was surprised, but happy - since it was me who took the picture. I took the picture almost two years ago during work time for work purposes when I was working at Stratsys. That's why I out of respect haven't posted it on the blog. Actually I photographed all managers at the whole company and also some pictures of the environment and group pictures that I saw are still on their website. Check it out!

Step parents in Sthlm

Attilla and Reyhan just left with the car after a couple of days in Stockholm. As nice tradition me, Cem and our parents spent a day together. First we went to Waldermarsudde for a walk and then had coffee and cookie at Rosendals trädgård. I'm so happy that they are all trying so hard to get to know each other better, even though they don't speak the same language. They even gave each other presents!

Cooking at Cajsa Warg

My group at work went to Caisa Warg for cooking and eating together. The menu was to say the least advanced! I copypasted it here below but I don't even wanna try to translate it to English. I was really proud of our accomplishment and and it tasted delicious too!

• Halstrad oxfilétartar med tryffelmajonnäs och surdegskrutonger
• Lågtempererad vildsvinsytter a la Bourguignon med tryffelmos.
• Äppeltarte med färskost, karamellsås och saltrostade mandlar.

Ice cream

Since I'm eating LCHF ice cream is not longer in my diet. However this little one seemed ok to eat! (that I actually ate 5 of them is another story...)

Turkish karaoke

Once a month at Cem's work there is after work. This week was special because they had rented a karaoke machine. Duman and Tarkan for every penny! :) People were surprised that I knew so much of the lyrics, but of course I do! :D

My taxi receipts

The two last months taxi receipts for work... New record: SEK 5000 in a month.

Homecoming day

Every year the The Student Association at Stockholm University School of Business organizes a Homecoming day for old and current students. Last year Annika Falkengren (CEO SEB and one of my role models!), Peter Norman (Minister for Financial Markets), Lars Nyberg (CEO TeliaSonera) and Michael Wolf (CEO Swedbank) participated in a panel discussion. This year Prime Minister Fredrik Reinfeldt himself came and spoke about his own education and education in general. His speech was really good and I'm really impressed by him.

Only me online on the work chat - again. It's been a rough couple of weeks, looking forward to some rest. However, I wouldn't trade this for anything! All the things I'm learning every day and all the amazing people I get the opportunity to work with.

Nynäshamn

After Torö me and Mum stopped by Nynäshamn. Not much going on there on a Sunday, nothing at all actually, but the harbor was filled with beautiful autumn colors.
